Every product that the user sees is the result of a pipeline of algorithms that needs to be run quickly and continuously. We focus on making everything become a weather station (from cars to microwave links to IoT devices).

Beyond these responsibilities, your role involves the strategic development and continuous enhancement of our CI/CD pipelines and shared IaaC modules. Your contributions are essential, laying the robust technological foundation necessary as we ambitiously aim to construct the largest weather platform in the world.

As a DevOps Team Lead at Tomorrow.io, You’ll:

  1. Lead and mentor a dynamic team of 3 DevOps Engineers, instilling a culture of "you build it- you own it," fostering innovation and promoting the adoption of modern technologies and best practices in a vibrant startup atmosphere.
  2. Facilitate an inclusive, collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to bridge communication across diverse professional disciplines, ensuring seamless integration and utilization of DevOps tools and practices.
  3. Take strategic ownership of our FinOps initiatives and Cloud budget management, ensuring optimized cloud resource utilization and efficient cost control in alignment with business objectives.
  4. Champion the shift-left methodology, proactively focusing on early detection and resolution of issues to maintain the highest standards of software quality and operational excellence.

    What you bring:

    • At least 3 years of leadership in guiding a team of DevOps Engineers, driving innovation and technological excellence.
    • Strategic insight in FinOps with a focus on cloud cost optimization and efficient resource management.
    • Excell at fostering collaboration in a multicultural, cross-functional setting, ensuring cohesive teamwork across diverse professional backgrounds.
    • Organized, agile mindset with the ability to thrive in a startup culture, managing complexities and rapidly adapting to change.
    • At least 5 years of technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, IaC, and programming languages, underpinning the operations essential to DevOps and cloud efficiency.

So if you're passionate about leading technological innovation for a global impact, Tomorrow.io offers you this unique opportunity. As our DevOps Team Lead, your role will be pivotal in advancing our groundbreaking weather technology. We promise a dynamic environment where your expertise drives significant, real-world advancements.
