Job Brief
We are seeking a dynamic Ruby Full-Stack Engineer to fortify our development team. Your primary role will be to spearhead the development and maintenance of our cloud-based management system for our cutting-edge IoT products. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in the construction of our upcoming AWS Java/Spring-based infrastructure.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our cloud-based management system for IoT products, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Contribute to the construction of our new AWS Java/Spring-based infrastructure.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Required Skills and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in software development, with a focus on developing robust and scalable web applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails framework.
- Proven skills in problem-solving and system design.
- Proficiency in understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Nice to have
- Experience working with MySQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Kafka and AWS services.
- Previous exposure to Java and Java Spring framework.
